You can do something but...
Actually you can take whatever action you decide is necessary if he's in your home. Fold, spindle and mutilate inside the home. Once he gets to the doorstep you may be restricted from using "extreme" prejudice unless you have also previously filed a "claim". There is a US law that stakes that claim jumpers can be shot on site if they are on your property. They don't even have to be carrying a gun, just simply "on your land". I know those who have done this in an effort to protect themselves. Never seen it acted on though...
