How to remove this bolt? (EGR Valve cleaning)

Removing the EGR pipe from the other end takes some finesse where you have to wiggle it around at certain angles to pull it out (after the 2 bolts are removed that hold it).
You don't have to remove the fuel rail to get to the bolt. You just have to remove the screws that hold down the fuel rail and once their off, you should be able to nudge the fuel rail a bit to the side to allow downward access to the bolt holding the EGR valve (using an extension). There are instructions on how to remove the fuel rail on W210 forum I believe (not sure) but it's straight forward with just looking for the screws that hold down the fuel rail (again, you don't have to remove and lift the fuel rail off). The important part is to bleed the fuel rail into a rag to relieve the pressure but I only saw half a teaspoon of fuel come out, and it didn't seem like high pressure either. Good luck.
