2002 CLK 320
"Brake lining wear" light
Howdy
I've have a 2002 CLK 320 cab. I just replaced the brakes and rotors and the brake lining wear light is still on. Is there a way to reset the sensors or do I need to replace them?
Thanks
Mike

You may have found when you replaced the pads that the cable to the sensors was rubbing on the edge of the brake rotor making contact, which would make the circuit and give the warning on your dash. If this is the case you can just move the wire away slightly and use electrical tape to cover where it rubbed.

What light is the brake pad warning lite ? I had the abs-esp and another lite come on the same time. I turned the engine off and when i turned it back on the lites were off. Any ideas. Also if anyone has a instructional on changing the rear brake pads i would be very greatful for it. Thanks
