BTW, are you using the Decah car kit? If so, which kit are you using? The ones for the Accord? Does the kit need any modification or is it directbolt on? Thank you soooo much!

Took them 2 days with 2 guys to modify it correctly so that it would fit and open properly.
But I don't have any compaints about how it looks in person. I can't wait till the kit and exhaust are done.

That does look a tight fit when opening the door side ways. I hope getting out with the door upwards would be easier. Side note on the doors though. A lot of people, especially women, comment about the doors being heavy and some of them have a hard time opening and closing it. Do the attachments to the door have some sort of compression or spring to help it move upwards? Otherwise your'e gonna have less women in the car and a more defined arm

It looks like a tight fit when the door swings up too. Originally posted by funky102

If there is a spring to help it move up, wouldn't be harder to pull it down? Its got to be sprung just right to minimze the up and down effort.

You think you might be able to ask what kit you guys are using? Im really curious...
The door is actually quite easy to open and close. There is a small shock on the unit to help it out.
I will ask him what kit it is.

How much did the kit cost you? And also, do you know how much they charged for the install? THanksOriginally posted by W208&203

Labor is cheap cuz our dollar sucks.. The rims will be changed ad bodykit wise, it was originally going to be done with the RS kit, but there wasn't enough time to have it shipped over and finished, so the custom kit was made. And in the pictures, the car is actually raised up 1cm.

Instead of putting the Lambo doors on your CLK just wait until this is available and you can trade yours in! I know I sure wouldn't mind having this SL in the garage. I now expect all of the guys out there who didn't like the lambo doors before to all of a sudden change thir mind!

I just went to the shop again on saturday to take pictures, but sadly, it was not ready yet. The doors are done, but the kit has to go on, the dual exhaust has to be set-up, and it needs to be painted. Hopefully it will be done by the end of this week. I will keep u guys updated
