Nice... do you have any close-ups of the wheels?
So what kind of wheels are they? are they 18s or 19s??? You definitely need to lower that car at least an inch or so...
Btw, is that another CLK i see in the reflection below:

Didnt you get those from your brother in Randolph selling those rims? He lives in the same town as me, just curious if you bought them. Sweet ride, we should meet up, if your in Morristown.

Vik - Hells yeah I got them from my Bro! He is a great friend of mine. I needed new tires any-who, so I couldn't pass those up!
BTW, the car is lowered 1.24 in the front and 1.07 in the rear. H&R Springs! Any lower, I won't get out of my driveway, LOL!!

It is actually filthy.. I power wash it with maguires and air dry it. Have been using a product called QuickShine that seems to do the trick in between washes. The trick is, I use a filler to "hide" the swirls, then twice a year I do a FULL detail, and lightly remove the ones I can.
Swirls are inevitable, we just have to live with em' (and hide them)
Damn that's clean. Do you have any swirls in that black paint? What do you wash it with?

I will get you some close ups of the wheels as soon as I can. They are 18' Mille Miglia Impera's.
And yes, that is a 2002 CLK 55 - Silver, in the reflection.

thanks for the pics... they look real nice... nice lip too..
but ok, now to bash you... based on the picture you provided... it looks to me like the left side is the cabin area (based on the side skirts), and right right side is the trunk (based on the dirt pattern & location of the brakes)... is that correct?
If it is, you have your tires mounted incorrectly, cause the arrow on the directional tire is pointed towards the back... instead of the front...
Check the tire on the other side of the car... you might need to swap your wheels to the other side if they are both spinning the wrong way...

No spring pads, was gonna do it, but then couldn't decide. Got the Springs in and have been pretty happy, wasn't reall ysure about going any lower. Wheels have been switched, and its all good.
Those are chrome lips, not polished steel (as far as I know anyways )

Spring Pads
have you changed the spring pads yet? Car/rims looks great, but needs to be lowered a bit more.
