I just bought a 2000 CLK 430 Cabrio and I'm trying to wire a 12V adapter directly to the car since plugging it into the lighter is REALLY ugly.

Can anyone help with where and how the quickest point might be to get that wired. I was wondering if there was a way to put it in the console storage area so that it could be completely out of the way....

I'd go with the accessory lead from the radio unit.

Given that I'm a beginner at this are there any instructions or direction (web sites, etc) that you can point me to?
