So, I had my windows tinted today, from a shop I never used before since my guy has been MIA for a while. Yelp had great reviews, so I thought I was good to go, boy was I wrong. First off, I have an opal black met 430, of which I've spent many hours on paint correction with the rotary buffer jeweling the paint to perfection. I get the car back, and they laid and dragged the tint across so much that I not have at least 4 hours ahead of me tomorrow in fine scratches. Next, the rear carpet (oyster color) had black marks everywhere, and worst of all, they cut the vinyl on the door panel by the window on the driver side, probably 1/4 inch. All this and it took 11 hours... Literally I dropped it off at 9:30AM, got it back at 8:30PM..... Never have I had this bad of an experience.

The worst part is they will not admit to cutting the vinyl, but say they will have it "repaired" which I'm leery of. I'll give them the opportunity, but if it's not right, I will file an insurance claim against the company for damages. I will wait until everything is resolved before I post names. The windows themselves look great, however I asked for 18%, looks more like 35%, so I really think they put the wrong tint on there as well. I will post pictures tomorrow of the carnage.
