Best all around bulb for a clk 320
Hey Guys!
I need to replace my bulbs on my '03 cab. When I bought it the headlights were badly yellowed, thanks to the sylvania headlight restoration kit they're clear & look new again. ALOT of elbow grease, but well worth the time!!! Now I still have weak bulbs. Everything I've looked up says both hi/lo are H7 bulbs and since I am saving up for projecters & HID I'm just wanting a good bulb to get me through.
I live in a very rural area, ok I live out in BFE, but anyway. There is a ton of deer that get smacked in front of my house! I haven't had but one other car in my life, so I'm not used to the low to the ground output & want something to light up the road. I love my car and really don't want to find out how well it parks under a deer or elk at 60!
So I'd like feedback from everyone as far as the most light for the least expense. I do still want quality and want to keep it under $100, if that's possible. If there is a brand I can match the fogs to that would be even better.
I do envy you guys closer to the city, there is NO WAY I could ever lower my car, roads out here wouldn't allow it, heck my driveway wouldn't! Also the closest dealerships are 3 hrs (Albuquerqe), 3 1/2 hrs (Sante Fe) & 7 hrs (Denver) so TG I have a shop to squeeze it into & work on it.
