99 CLK 320 Soft Top Handle and Fastener
I pulled my handle down to turn and lock the top to the windshield and the handle with the shaft completely pulled out. From what I can gather I now need to replace the whole central fastener assembly that locks down the top. The assembly costs $1047 from the dealer. OUCH!!! Has anyone else done this and if so how difficult was it?
