Cruise control - How remove/replace yourself?

Hi,

does anyone have an idea how to replace the cruise control?

It is most likely broken in two pieces, too bad. anyways, would appreciate all help I can get. Also I cant seem to find the right part number anywhere. I have checked service manual, the switch itself. Also I cant rely on the part numbers I find on the internet because it seems like various distributors use their own part number.

Thank you all,

Got my Clk 320 last weekend. Wohoo!

Clarify: Are you talking about the cruise control unit/computer/lever/what?

Hi,

The lever seems to be broken. lim lights up when pushed in, but thats it.

Is it easy to change yourself? you obviously need to dismantle the steering wheel etc.

I've pulled the wheel several times for other things, but have never had to replace the cruise control lever. I have seen other posting on the forum for that job. Search the forum and look for previous topics, and you'll likely find a load of info.
