brake fluid visit workshop
so i was driving home tonight and i noticed that i had to press on my brakes lower then normal when stopped. finally as i was getting closer to my house the malfunction on my cluster came up "brake fluid visit workshop" I looked at my brake fluid and noticed it was low. it was dark out so thats all i was able to check.
What can be causing the leak? where should i start to look? i hope this is nothing serious. i have a 2000 clk 430 cab. it seems like once i fix one thing something else is breaking!!!!! any help would be appriciated i never had to deal with a brake fluid leak!

When was the last time you checked the levels? Also, are your pads/rotors worn? Sometimes when brakes are worn the fluid level drops as well because you have to push more to brake. Next easy step is to check your garage or driveway for brake fluid on the ground. If you have some drips at least you know 2 things. 1. It is leaking and 2. About where it’s coming from. Depending on where, examine lines and connections to the master cylinder. Hopefully it’s just worn pads. Good luck.

99CLK320,
clean the pump first. make sure it is dry. then start the car and pump the brake enough times to hopefully make the leak happen again so you can see exactly where it is coming from on the pump. Could be a fitting. could be a fatigued line. Could be seals like you stated. Do a little more research to determine the exact source of th leak. Kapish(?).

Brake pipe split at rear left, need diagram
Hello, does anyone have a workshop manual diagram of the rear braking system of a 2000 CLK 230 Kompressor please. Hopefully with part numbers so I can order a new brake line. Thanks

The WIS has links to the EPC, and the look up process is usually much easier with a VIN. Before going that route though, have you considered making your own lines? A tubing bender, some line, a flair tool, some nuts, and you're on your way.
