98 CLK320

Found on ground by drivers side rear tire - part has two markings but I can only read one - 02 4793-2 29. It measures just over 1 3/4" in diameter. Looks like its a cap or something? Kind of wondering if it's something important.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Check the other side of the car to see if you see something similar. Might be a drainage grommet that fits in one of the frame holes in the undercarriage.
