Noise at transmission or engine w208 2002
Hello everyone, Im new to this forum.
Just bought myself w208 2002, already have changed spark plugs and fuel filter. not much previous owner has done to it but the car didnt see winter much and in good condition. But as an old car has issues answers of Ill try to find on this forum.
here is my issues.. on a speed 30-70 kph when i release the gas pedal strange noise like the vehicle is having problems to lose current speed appearing and i couldnt define its place but not at the rear though. if you release pedal at a 100kph there is nothing. it sounds like hum.
another one is a slight surd click sound on acceleration only from full stop until reach around 60kph
just now i figured the problems are on opposite action at the around same speed.
clk 320, engine i believe 112, WDBLJ65G02T110873 is the vin.
please give some ideas.

neither were outwear.
front i believe
rear i believe
both look solid
seems like the transmission needs maintenance. sounds like oil is dripping at the pan after little drive. will replace fluid and filter in next couple of days.
