Clk Owners Please Reply

Hi all, I am pretty new to this forum. I have only been here for about 1 month, and I have to say that I love it.
Ok I have one question to everyone that owns, has owned, or has been shopping for a clk. I am planning to get a clk next year. I was just wondering what people payed for their clk. Please let me know if you financed, leased, or purchased the car and what are your monthly payments. I want to get an idea of how much I should be paying so that I can get a good deal at the dealership. also please tell me what kind of clk it is. thanks alot.

Your Mom has deeeeeep pockets to drop almost $50 G's like that. What line of work is she in?

i'm looking to move to SoCal in a year or so and would like to find out how to make money like that.

I did the flex financing with MB Corp. kinda like a lease but don't need to worry about miles. also, did the tax advantage option where i can write off the interest on my taxes...

I think they just want to keep it in Asia, international business is always complicated and sometimes people lose all their money because of this.

Sorry vladi77 for the unhelpful posts, I appologize . . .

I have an EXCEL spreadsheet that will calculate payments on loans or leases (you have to know the residuals! for a lease).

E-Mail me if interested.

Paid MSRP for my 2002 320 CLK. Extra ~$3K for the aftermarket navigation + $1.2K for the extended warranty + tax/license.

Paid $36K in cash and financed the rest. Monthly payments are $210.

Paid cash (thanks to stocks) and got an '00 430 for my first car .

Paid $54K with options K3+K4, about $59K with taxes.

I actually placed the order at one dealership, but another dealer called me saying they saw my name on the build list, and they had an identical one coming a month earlier for the same price. I said "sure!" and got my car in 3 1/2 months, not 4 1/2.

Ordered an Orion Blue, k2a,k3,k4,command back in December. Got a $2,200 discount from the dealer. Car is due sometime this month (should have been here already). My 540 lease is up next this week. Zero down lease will be $800 (including tax) for 48 months or I can opt for the MB lease of 39 months with the 36 month residual (65%) at $870. However with the MB lease, I'll have to pay $800 inception, first month payment, other upfront cost = $300, and disposition at lease end. I think I'm gonna go with my credit union. It's a better deal. The bad thing though is the 55% residual and 48 month term. However, I can get out of it in two years, just in time for the second or third model year of the new W209's. By that time all the kinks would have been ironed out. And hopefully, with the AMG package, it would'nt look like a freaking Acura CL anymore !!!

Good luck shopping !!!

P.S. If any feels that I should get a better discount please let me know and how much are discounts now in March !!! Thanxs

R129 SL55 AMG & W208 CLK55 AMG
well, when i was shopping around for a clk, a german benz exporting agent in Hamburg offered me a 1999 clk 430 AMG for 95,000 DM.

i was shocked at the low price until i discovered that the car was sitting in yokohama port japan. I got suspicious and backed off.

Well...i ended up paying around 65K $ for a fully loaded AMG CLK 320 2000 model. From Qatar ( middle east).

Expensive but safe

(should have searched further for the V8, but too late now)
