Should I do a gloss black powdercoat on my Carlssons while leaving the lip polished? Or should I just leave them alone? The powdercoat I'm thinking of doing will more closely resemble the finish of the grill in this pic.

i think it looks good as is...

the gun metal finish looks nice, but, i think that is better suited for darker cars... not quite that hot on a silver car... just my .02c

I like the way gunmeatal looks. Different but still classy. Who is doing the refinishing?

I'm gonna call my insurance to find out if they ever got that guy who hit me. In any event, my car is getting fixed and should be done sometime this week. I was asking for opinions on the gunmetal look cause that's kind of what color my grill is (see the last pic in the link in my sig, 2nd page) and I was thinking of refinishing the rims in gunmetal along with my exhaust tips to complete the look. Not sure if I should do it though.

I think polished would look nice, black doesn't suit the silver.

not chrome pimp style though... subtle polish.

Leave the rims silver!

Black rims usually look like the car isn't maintained too well (IMO):

I think I like the way gunmetal looks. I will chose that one. But it is about personal choice though.

In addition to the FOUNDER'S VERDICT,

I humbly suggest: Blue MB Laurel center caps.
