Do you mean the BAS (Brake Assist) ESP (Electronic Stability Program) warning light? If so, that light coupled with the inability to move the shifter from "park" usually means the brake light switch should be replaced. The next time it happens, you can confirm it's the switch by seeing if the brake lights illuminate when the pedal is pressed.
