My New Brabus Steering Wheel and Leather Airbag

The Euro Pimp brought me my newest mod on his latest trip. :0) Here's what my steering wheel/airbag looked like before:

Not bad, but it gets tiring to look at after a few years. Here it is now...

Not only does it look a million times better, but it feels so much better than the old wheel. And the leather airbag is a nice little touch as well. :0)

I got the white ones - in the pics they look much bluer than they actually are...

The steering wheel really looks good. A definitive good choice. It seems that the color is exactly the same than your leather, did you specify your leather color when you bought it?

Josh,

I got my led's from ddp and I tried to install them today, but it seems that they don't fit. Was there a special way that you had yours installed? Did you have to grind off 1 of the prongs?
The leds I got are
#MB403-B12-CB-BP
#MB403-W12-CW-BP

Thanks in advance

Yes, I prong has to be removed in order for them to fit. After this, they'll fit perfectly.

Wow, that looks great Josh. So are you planning to sell or give away your old raggedy airbag? If so, please contact me, ol' buddy ol' pal.

I think the foglight should be pretty easy to replace. If it's the angel eye that blew out then you'll have to send it to Hella for them to get you a replacement.

Can you just go over to the dealership and buy one or do they have to order it for you? Also, how much does one cost?

the infra-red part of the key should be able to be reprogrammed to work on ur car, however, the little metal key will have to be cut in Germany.

It takes a couple days for the dealer to get from the factory. Infra-red key & little metal key costs about $140 total...

if you are good with ur SA (like I am, hehehe) he might be able to hook you up with a new key....

Based on the price you stated, those are MB wheels...

The one Josh has is a Brabus wheels, which retails for well over a $1,000 (i think it sells for about $1,200 from Brabus)

Hey Josh, what happened to you keeping to the CARLSSON brand....

I seriously think you should gimme that brabus wheel to match my suspension...

Couldn't find a Carlsson wheel and even if I did, the price wouldn't have been as good. I'm not too worried about mixing this tuner in, though - there's only a very small brabus logo on one spoke and the other brabus embossing is on the bottom of the wheel out of view.

Does anyone know the price that Steve can get me for an MB wheel? Nothing like Brabus, would the MB wheel be cheaper?

I believe they are cut in Maryland and if you order it early in the day, you can have it NEXT DAY.

Is it just me or do the steering wheels look different? The old one looks like charcoal and the new one look grey. Hmmm.. its 3 am right now, maybe thats the problem. But yeah, is it charcoal or grey?
