19inch wheels... how much power loss & MPG loss?
I have a 2001 CLK 430 Cabrio thinking of installing Carlsson 19’ wheels. I heard through some folks that the larger wheels will effect the performance + Gas mileage. Is this true and if so, by how much? Thanks.

The only difference may be the weight of the new rims vs. the stock ones. As far as size, the new 19" rims and tires should only be about a 0.5" difference from the OEM wheel height.

tis doesn't really answer your question but it kind of relates. i heard that the bigger your rims are the higher top speed you have, the smaller rims you have the fast 0-60 time you will have....
jus thought yalls would like to know.

there was a thread a short while back in the wheels forum that discussed the power effects of heavier wheels... run a search, the results are pretty interesting...
