2000 CLK 320 Convertible Top Problems
I have a 2000 CLK 320 and the top will not go down. The switch in the console that operates the top is not flashing and the reservoir in the trunk is full. When you pull the button to lower the top I can see that the back deck is starting to move but stops almost immediately. When releasing the switch the back deck comes back to its resting position (closed) Any ideas as to why the top will not go down? Thanks for any help you can pass my way!

I don't fully understand the description of the problem. Does anything else move before the back deck does, and is the back deck pulling down or lifting up?
