Is there more than one size oil filter wrench capable?
I got a 02 CLK 430 and i'm looking for an oil filter wrench and all the stores near me dont have the size im looking for!!
76mm – 14 flutes (14 faces) oil filter wrench with
3/8” drive.
They all have like a filter wrench thats 1 size up or 1 size down and has 15 flutes or something...i was wondering if theres more than one size filter wrench capable of fitting onto the CLK430 oil filter?

NAPA had one that I bought. I use a band oil filter wrench that has a customizable diameter because they work better IMHO and they can be found anywhere.

I bought my 76mm, 14 flute, 3/8" drive cap wrench at Advanced Auto Parts.
Since the oil filter is located on the top of the engine, the sales clerk let me verify that it fit properly before final purchase.
The filter cap torque requirement, 25N-m (18 ft lbs), is stamped on the cap.
Stay away from the paper filters and use only the OEM fleece type filter. Advanced Auto also stocked the Mann HU 718/5X OEM fleece filter. The filter cartridge comes with new O rings (for the W208, one of the mid size rings will not be needed). Be sure you install the large O ring correctly (e.g. in the grove just below the cap's flange, not up against the flange).
You can often find Mobile 1 0W-40 synthetic on sale for $5 - $6 / quart or Walmart sells a 5 quart jug for $25.
