Follow up: Insurance only wanted to cover $700 of repairs so i was stuck with the 'repair'. MB of Beaumont did a ghetto job the soldering looks ok, but they wrapped the wires with electrical tape!
Brought it home and a few days later looked under the hood and that dang mouse had started a new house and started to chew the tape! Read up that once they do that they will keep coming back to it. I now have moved it to another part of the property and put a little container with moth ***** in it under the hood. So far no new critters making homes. I check every other day and start it every couple of days.
