2000 CLK430

clk320 body parts on a clk430

Hi everyone! I searched like crazy for an answer to this question, but couldn't find anything..

I just bought a 2000 CLK430. It's great mechanically, but the body is rusted all round like crazy.. I'm looking to replace the doors, fenders and trunk lid. A local wrecker says he's got a CLK320 sport, from which the body parts will fit. I was wondering if anyone could confirm if this is true.. Do doors, fenders and trunk lid from CLK320s fit on the CLK430s???

Oh, and I forgot to add - I'll probably need a rear bumper cover from the same car. Thanks!

2001 CLK 320

I am pretty sure the parts will fit as its only the engine that is different......

What year is the 320? Assuming it's the same year as yours, the bumpers and side skirts are the only difference.

If it is a true CLK320 "sport" (the CP1 sport package), the bumper covers and side skirts will be the same as a 430/55. You may want to get the side mirrors
with the doors. As others have said, it all bolts on without any issues.

Thanks for all the responses, everyone!

Magma, as dumb as it sounds, I didn't ask the year.. I just asked if they had compatible parts. I'll call tomorrow morning and find out!

Marcus, the guy claims it is a 320 sport. I just washed the car today and took a closer look at the rust.. .Looks like I'll need a hood and fenders as well!! Also, pardon my ignorance, but what's a 540/55 ???
