Newbee benz owner need some help
8.5 yokahama 235/35/19 fronts and 9.5 265/30/19 in the rear. I also painted my calipers red . Of course I would like to add some additional items to the car, and have a few questions that I’m hoping someone can answer for me.
I want to change the look of my exhaust pipes and needed to know if there are any companies that make exhaust chrome tips that bolt right onto a 430? Or, will the new model clk exhaust tip fit on mine? Additionally, I am considering lowering my car and wanted to know if there are any problems associated with doing this? I obviously want to make sure that my wheels won’t hit the fenders. I recently ordered H&R springs and wanted to know if I need to change the shocks at the same time? Also, what is the going rate for installation of the springs? I live in Orlando, Florida and don't know of any one place that does good work on Benz’s for a decent price. Where do people take their Benz’s around here?
If anyone is interested I have a few items that I am willing to sell. I picked up some chrome mirror frames put them on and don't like them that much. I also have the stock AMG wheels and tires that I took off that I am selling. Make me an offer.
Well Thanks in advance it really sounds like you guys know your cars pretty well.

H&R are good springs... i would recommend changing out your shocks while you are at it... Bilstein or Koni would be good
I had my shocks & springs installed for $120 in Cali... most places should be able to do it under $200
Chrome exhaust.... hmm... you can go with CLK55 AMG exhaust... they are chrome, dual tips, and will fit nicely... not much audible sound though

as far as relatively cheap replacement bumper, if you like the lorinser, i think you should look at the Expression DTM front skirt. for under $1K, its a great looking bumper and not a replica like the Carlsson RS kits (which i also like). If you want chrome exhaust, you can go with Remus, which has larger tips and a much wider variety than AMG and is cheaper to boot. i had a Remus before my Eisenmann, and i liked the look, but love the huge stainless tips and throaty beastly noise of Eisenmann.
EvoSport.com is a sponsor here, they carry the Expression DTM stuff as well as many performance mods you can make to your engine. Remus, youll have to go somewhere else for though. As far as horsepower, talk to EvoSport about their chiptuning, as well as underdrive pullies (good for 13hp at the wheels). just about anything you can imagine can be done for a price, just depends on what you want to spend.

What are you asking for your white clk 430?
when i was serious about selling, i had it listed at $35K, obviously given the market right now, it would be less. it is also going out of warranty soon, so that would devalue it more. from an investment standpoint, what and when is done with the car involves heavy input from my father. i purchased the car when the market for it was much stronger. always looking to save/make a dime, my father is looking for a time to sell, im sure at some point hell decide to take the loss and sell the car. personally, i love the car, im in no hurry to get rid of it. this was my first luxury car, my first being something to drive, and my second being a classic restoration project. at the right price wed let it go, but an informed buyer wouldnt offer that price right now, so i guess its not for sale officially.
