cracked front lip

I have had success with epoxy. I got some quick setting, clear ones from the hardware store.
The only thing is that you have to hold the crack together with enough strength so that it doesn't form a line.

2000 CLK430
Before you mess things up you should look into the stuff that motorcyclists use to repair cracked and broken fairing. Many of them ABS too.
There's a good tutorial at :
http://www.sportrider.com/tech/146_9510_hand/
It goes into detail about using fiberglass for the repair.
There's another product I have seen and witnessed at the vendor area at Motorcycle races that if pretty cool. It's called Plastech and can be found at:
http://www.plastech-formula.com/motorcycle.cfm
I've seen the Plastech stuff and it looks solid and may be perfect to bond the lower back together from behind and eliminate any painting requirement.
Hope this helps.
(this is my first post here! just bought a 2000 CLK430 and waiting for the truck from Houston!)
