Seriously I have to say that the whole idea of putting the symbol on the grill is ugly. It look completly out of place, I cant describe how much I despise it. Maybe something is wrong with me, cos everyone seems to like it, but I cant stand looking at it, I think your car is beautifull but seriously man you really ruined it with that grill. On the other hand its def look better than the shatz.

I bought it direct from MH-Dezent before Evosport had it available. I would highly recommend buying through Evosport if you are intersted, because by the time I paid for the shipping from Germany and import fees it got very expensive!!
The quality of the hood is excellent. It is much better than I anticipated.

Is that true? that you can replace just the grill and ...more
and do NOT need to replace the hood. That is optional.
Lorinser CLK, now that you have the item, can you tell if the grill alone will work without the hood replacement.

Lorinser CLK,
Looks awesome, but in your pictures, it seems that your hood doesn't come down all the way to the part line around the lights and below the grill. There seems to be a small gap. Is this noticeable in real life or just something that is exaggerated by the photo?

Shah: That gap is on all CLKs. It is there to allow minor cooling to the engine as well as it's primary function of not scratching the paint when you close your hood. Without a gap, you would have scratches/dents left from everytime you open/close your hood.
Rezah:
The CL-Style grill will only work in combination with the CL-Style hood. There has been some confusion about this lately, but the grill is in fact a different shape and size, and will not fit the stock hood.

This grill will only work with the new hood. There is no way it will fit the original hood. The grill that comes with the kit is an actual factory CL grill. You can also get an SL grill if you prefer like the car pictured on the MH-Dezent website.
As far as the gap question, this is normal on all CLK's. I looked at some pictures I had of the factory hood and it looks the same.

The hood is made of fiberglass, which is second lightest to Carbon Fiber. Compared to stock, the hood is about 50lbs lighter, and allows the heat to dissipate off the engine better.
