Where this tube should go?

I've got a tube hanging loose under the bonnet, see the image attached.
Could anyone with the same engine (M111) please take a picture of where it should go.

PS: The headlight lever and climate control flaps are not functioning.

It's a vacuum tube. I think it connects to a rubber hose coming off the rear top of the engine. I'm not sure what a headlight lever and a climate control flap is, but they could be vacuum operated from this hose.

Thanks, but the problem is that I don't see any hose sticking out in that area. May be you can pinpoint the spot on the image here where it should go.

Check other end

Strange. Looks miss placed, sry got the 112m enginen but what u have in the other end of the tube? Is white or hard to see?

Problem solved, the white tube should be inserted into a black hose.

Found the solution on w202 branch (can't find the link).

Aha I know what you are talking about now I remember seeing that on my own to when changed spark plugs. What ever is for me don't know lol. I think WIS has a vacuum hose diagram ill have a look tomorrow morning european time. If I find one Ill get back to you with it as I take you might want it P.
