abs/Esp problem
Hi Guys,
Well i ' ve had 2 times this problem:
While i Was driving. ..sudden loose of Power. ...And Light esp/asr on.
I ' ve reset The esp with The steering wheel But The problem..has come another time ......
Any idea???.
Stop switch May be ?....
I've a clk 163 cv of2001 avantgarde and i love It.

The brake light switch, on the W208, has been a ubiquitous problem. The switch controls 2 separate circuits and can cause the dashboard's multifunction display to show brake assist, ABS, & stability, visit workshop, control error.
The BAS/ABS visit workshop warning turn on when pressing the brake pedal and I have never read about a loss of power. Additionally, it resets after turning off the car and restart. However, your description /conditions seem different.
After many years of mine occasionally turning on the dashboard visit workshop display, a couple of times a year with light application of the break pedal, I finally replaced my brake switch.
MB now has resigned the switch and it's a very simple DIY (e.g. only took 10 minutes to replace). The new P/N is 001-545-64-09 and only cost $20 at the dealer.

esp/asr
The problem happens in this way:
While i ' m driving after pushing The gas pedal. ..The car seem to stop on of The wheel. .esp/asr turn on.
And stay on Even if i stop and restart....engine.
Now if i reset with wheel steering, don't reset anymore.

Sounds like a speed signal is faulty (e.g. wheel speed sensor, ESP / SPS control module etc.).
Next step would be to have the STAR diagnostic system look for any fault codes.

asr esp problem
Well I've connected My obd2 bluetooth But no errors or faulty events...how Can i be shure that The problem is Not connected with The stop switch.?
otherwise could be a problem of The esp stability sensor in The Back of My car?.
First event happened When i returned From germany - 2 Strange conditions ...
Low temperature nera 0 ' C and The 2' Was that The washer pipe of The front Window Was disconnected and The water could Fall in The sx front of The motor near The front fuse & relays box.
may be ? ....
Even The 2 time The pipe of The washer. ...was disconnected...

OBDII is only for emission related problems / fault codes.
The STAR diagnostic system is a software program that runs on a Windows computer and plugs into the 38 pin diagnostic connector in the engine compartment. All MB dealers and many independent shops use it.
Unfortunately, from what you have explained, the problem appears to be more than a faulty brake light switch. Actually, it seems that your ABS brake system is activating while driving (e.g. "While i Was driving. ..sudden loose of Power. ...And Light esp/asr on. / The car seem to stop on of The wheel. .esp/asr turn on.").
It may be weather related and possibly interment condition. The CANBus uses multi-level voltage encoding (e.g. very complex and sensitive). The related electrical components / circuitry have temperature and/or moisture normal operational limit parameters and a component could be out of tolerance specification.
However, if the condition persists, I would have the STAR diagnostics run.

Today i drive for 110 km But all was ok.....
I've The doubt. ..that The problem was connected to 2.3 liters of washer....water...with..The pipe...disconnected.
