New member--the Benz is coming soon!
Hello everyone!
I've been visiting the forums for the last few weeks and have found it to be very inviting. To tell you a little bit more about myself, I'm from California, and I am studying Electrical Engineering.
On the car front, I've test driven so many different things it's crazy: M3, M5, Escalades, NSX, Z06, etc etc. I think I've zeroed in my decision on a CLK430 or the CLK55. In the next few weeks I hope to find one.
All the other cars had their benifits, but at the current standpoint I think the W208 CLK will be best for me and my situation.
Well I guess that's it, hope to be posting here a lot more often.
Best Regards
Ravi

CLK, X5
Welcome
Ya, as much as i think a w209 convertible would look pretty good with some 19 amg wheels and springs, i cant help but thinking that about 80% of people who own the new clk are women (at least where im from), and generally women in their mid to late 60's :-)

LOL guys, I tried to convince myself to get a W209, but besides the frameless sides it does NOTHING for me.
Although the CLK55 is getting more affordable, I will probably end up with a 430. I haven't driven one yet, but I hope it's not a slouch. Even if it is, no worries, because I think I'll buy a motorcycle for my need for speed.
In a car as pimp as the CLK, I think 14's is quite respectable.
Thanks for the warm welcome,
Ravi Mohan
