2003 clk320 convertible

Missing Lug Nuts w208

Flat tire, went to change and NO spare lug nuts in car/trunk. when i change tire and put on full size spare the lug nuts that were on were too long for the spare Had to have towed. what size lug nuts for the spare do i need to order.

IF the flat was on the rear you were right to get the car towed as the wrong length of bolt will interfere with the handbrake (Footbrake) mechanism causing damage.

Just buy 4 standard lug nuts off ebay or at garage and cut them to length for your spare, just ensure you have at least 4+ full turns to tighten and you will be fine.

i had the same issue and easily found a whole set of spare tire lug bolts in the trunk of an e class at the local you-pull-it junk yard... 5 bucks and im good to go
