clear corner help

I have a clk 430 and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could purchase some clear corners for the vehicle. The ones on the front side bumper that dont blink but turn on orange when the headlights are on.

The ones on the front bumper look better painted rather than clear. Paint them to match your car. You can buy pre-painted ones from www.evosport.com

clear corners are for ricers & bimmers... don't be a sell out...

painting it or shaving it smooth are amongst the best choices....

I agree. Any body shop can color match, paint and sand them for you for no more than $40 bucks.

see guys i dont know. ive seen the corners that match the car color but i dont like the way the bumper looks cut up if u know wat i mean. ive also made all my lights hyper white so the clears would match my car better. if i cant find any though, then i will get the black ones that match my car cuz anything is better then orange.

Actually, it may not look too bad. I think you should try it and see how it looks. Good luck finding clear ones though, maybe evosport can get them for you from the factory before they are painted as long as they start out clear and not orange.

i don't think they paint it... the lens are dyed orange...

I don't think it would be possible to get it clear from the factory...

you can try buying a clear corner for another car that is bigger, and trim it down to fit...

I use to own an Acura cl-s 6 spd. and when we wanted to clear our turning lights we had somebody make them for us.

I would need to know how many people are interested and I might be able to arrange it since Ive dealt with him before.

let me show you some pics of what Im talking about.

these are the clear ones...they are exact replicas of the original

thats my boy Scooter taking apart his headlight

ugly orange diffusers had to be changed

stock -vs- clear

Those pics look pretty good. I would love to get clear lenses but I think it only looks good with certain colors, and mostly on darker cars. I think it would go great on a black, dark blue or deep tones like burghundy or green but I doubt it will go well with Mercedes version of Brilliant ( ) Silver.

sure..

i wouldn't mind buying a set, depending on the price. Mine are currently painted and look very clean, but sometimes.... you just want to be different

I actually was looking into going clear for my rears. I might be interested in that, but would have to see how it looks.

Yup, it sounds crazy, but i saw a car in TX that had red/clear combination that made the 99 style lights look cool. I wouldnt go completely clear, thats for ricers.
