Satisfaction Survey....
Saw this on the W203 forum, and I thought I'd be interesting to see how the W208 faired in this survey...
So, the question is, How Satisfied are you with your MBZ CLK?
Some things to consider are:
- Pre & Post Purchase Experience
- Servicing your Vehicle
- Overall Ownership Experience
- Any 'issues' encountered during your Ownership
10 is perfect, and lower numbers are worse...

I'd have to agree, the car does have its minor quirks, but I've been very happy with my overall experience thus far.... I gave it a 9 also... there is definitely room for improvement, but, I don't love it any less in its current configuration...
I love jumping in my car for a drive anytime... even when its in dead traffic...

5 - I am fairly disappointed in the build quality of this car considering I had high expectations for a MB. My 96 Maxima had far less problems and I wasn't worried about keeping it after the warranty was up. With my 2002 208, I have no choice but to think about dumping it before the warranty is up or I have to get the extended warranty. Either way, it's more money that I will have to shell out!

Only thing major I can think of right now is one of the Cat Convertors needing replacement.... Nothing else related to worksmanship or built quality...

2001 CLK430 Cab.
I give my 2001 Cab. a 9. It's a good car but nothing exciting (except when the top's down). My C5 Vette was a lot faster but not as classy. Have to start looking for an extended warranty because I'm the 2nd owner and can't get the MB extension. I had Warranty Gold but they went belly up.

I gave my 99 430 a 9.0 rating, even though it has a ton of small minor problems. The engine runs great, and everybody that sees my car tells me that it's a "hot ride". I only had one major issue w/ my purchase, and it wasn't MB's fault. It was w/ the aftermarket extended warranty company. They pissed me off and wouldn't cover the 02 sensors (which on my brochure it clearly stated that they would), so I ended up cancelling them. Anyways, my car is going into the shop later today for the Carlsson RS kit to be put on. I'll post pics when I get it back in a week or so.
