CLK320 Cruise Control Issue
Hi MBWorld,
I'm currently riding shotgun with my fiancée in her CLK320 and the cruise control keeps disengaging of its own accord.
Has anyone ever experienced this problem before? It's happening randomly but constantly at around 135kph-140kph.
Also, when she accelerates above the cruise control speed for an overtake, then allows the car to drop speed, at which point the car should automatically return to and sit at the previously set cruise speed, it does not and instead continues to decelerate.
It's strange. The cruise control "works" but not as it did before.
Any input on this would be much appreciated!

MBWorld Fanatic!
Please list the tire and wheel sizes. Also, is one of the tires new? This isn't a joke or a misplaced post. If the rolling diameter of all four tires are far enough off, the cruise control can disengage.

We recently fitted W212 E63 AMG replica wheels to the car in 18" diameter and new rubber all round.
I'll get the exact tyre sizes to you in another reply because I can't remember them off the top of my head, and I'm around a 4 hour flight away from the car at the moment.
