car continues running if I remove key with rear fog light on... anyone else?
I hit some pretty severe storms last weekend driving back from Phoenix, so I had the rear fog light on. When I pulled into the driveway, I twisted the key and removed it, but the car kept running. I could drive the car as normal. Steering wheel remained unlocked, I could shift R/N/D/P as usual. I put the smartkey back in, but it wouldn't turn.
I thought uh oh... this is bad. So I opened the door to get out, and the car complains lights are on. So I turn off the lights. Immediately the car shuts off, and I can hear the steering lock activate.
So... It's completely repeatable in my car. Is it a feature or a bug?
