2003 CLK430 cab
Newbie with his dream car... questions..

So I just bought a 2003 CLK430 Cab with only 72k miles on it from Northern CA. Car works prefectly except for the for and aft seat motor which I am working on fixing. I have wanted one fo these cars for a very long time becasue I really like the 'old school' looks of these CLK converts.

Plan is to upgrade the sway bars, lower the car with H&R springs and Bilstein sports, have the original ultra thin monoblock wheels refinished and buy new tires ( which are amazingly cheap for 17" wheels now a days).

I am a little disspointed that a lot of the performance parts are hard to find for these cars; I understand that they are 12-16 years old, but I would have thought the market would still be there. I'd like to supercharge the car or otherwise significnatly improve the power... do the exhaust and generally, just give it more ummph! The car was very well maintained by MB of Okland so I know the history of the maintenance and I think its a car that is worth throwing money at, even if that money outweighs the value of the car.

So my questions is.... are these kind of parts still available? If so, who are the best suppliers? Ive been searching for the last week or so and I come up with many websites that no longer exist.

If you are interested in selling any perfomance parts from your car, please let me know, I may be interested.

Thank you, Nick

Eurocharged is selling headers in the CKK55 section for $600. The 55 and 430 port spacing is the same.

Kleemann is the only tried and true option for supercharging as far as I'm concerned. Headers have always been a problem for the 208 chassis because of the steering. The old kleemann shorty headers were about as good as it gets unless you want to have custom headers made.
It's an old story, but if your after performance start with a 55
