Outside temperature reading was always working fine. I changed the windshield washer plate thing as it had a couple broken clips and was just hanging there. Picked one up off eBay for $14 ($33 new). Any way, the install was easy but when I got in the car this morning the temperature was reading 136F and it is just stuck there. Does this washer plate have anything to do with the temperature reading? Any ideas on what needs to be fixed?

Possibly the temperature sensor. They're about $14 at Autohaus AZ

I think you nailed it. Checked out the sensor and it was just dangling there, actually sticking out the bottom through a space in the plastic protector plates. The end was somewhat mangled. I'll replace that and see what happens. Thanks!
