anyone have a write up on installing xenons?
do i only have to splice/solder the positive wire from the ballast to the positive white wire on the headlight and the negative wire from the ballast to the brownish negative wire?

the procedures vary depending on which setup you doing.
for an aftermarket kit, yes, thats what you would need to do. and chances are, you will get a light out error since you are pulling less voltage.
if you replacing the entire light assembly, the procedure is more labor intensive as you will need to remove the entire front bumper, then remove the OE halogen headlights then do the reverse to do the install.
