Just got the car and my top make noise but does not attempt to lower the top. I check the boot its in place. I noticed that one of the rear head rest back covers are missing and was wondering if it may of fallen off down into the area where the head rest goes down. I hate to go to Mercedes with this. The car isn't worth that much. But it may be the cheapest way to go. Suggestions, comments and answers. love to see her work again in all of its glory. Thanks

I think an '04 320 is a W209, so you are in the wrong forum. But when you post over there, give more detail than "my top makes noise." Details matter. Have you checked the fluid level in the pump reservoir? Obvious panel/door on left wall of trunk. Pull it off and look.
