Get rid of non-active teleaid malfunction code
Is there a way to have the tele-aid not active malfunction to keep popping up every time i start the car? Its annoying as hell and I can only imagine how much MB would charge to activate it.

..........MD's official position is that it is a safety feature and they will not deactiivate it. You may be able to find a friendly dealer, but most of them refuse to deactivate it. TEleaid supscription is $290 a year. I don't mind Teleaid, but very much dislike the way MB is trying to force you to subscribe to it by displaying a malfunction in your car if you don't have it turned on.

AWWWW that sucks Goat's ***!!! That's got to be the lowest marketing tactic...what's next? All future mercedes will not start because you have to register with Micro$lut? That's ridiculous.
I was all about to cancel my teleAid racket.

I'm not subscribed to TeleAid, but I don't have any messages popping up, so there must be something they can do.
TeleAid is something that should stay on for emergency purposes. Its just a matter of are you subscribed to their services for convenience options of satellite door unlocking, traffic info, concierge service, etc...
it doesn't hurt to ask your SA
