For my W212 I was able to purchase and install lenses-only to replace the fogged-over halogen headlamp lenses. They were, non-DOT-approved, for use outside the US, but, hey, what do I care, they're Hella (pun intended) better than the frosty, cataract-like lenses that were installed in the first place.

I took ownership of my '02 CLK55 after it already had had one headlamp assembly replaced; the other is a mess, and it's the one flaw that keeps the beast from looking near perfect.

Not finding replacement lenses as readily as I did for the W212, I was planning to get the full assembly until I discovered how expensive Xenon - which I have - is compared Halogen.

So ... I'm wondering if in Europe it's possible to purchase just replacement lenses (for Xenon, if they differ from Halogen)?
