05 g35 & 04 cl 500
cd changer prob
When i turn the cd player it says magazine empty, even though it is loaded. I can get it to work for afew secs but that is all any ideas?

have you tried unplugging the cd changer for 5 seconds and replugging it back in to "reset" it?

if you have a w208 coupe, then the cd changer should be held by a bracket on the rear passengers side of the trunk. just unbolt the 4 screws that are holding the bracket to the car, and uplug both plastic molex plugs.

Thanks for the advice. I got it working not sure how but it does.

I think i hit a pothole picking up a friend and it just might have knocked the fiber optics or something out of alignment, anyway thanks for your replies.
