Which way to go 18" or 19" rims?
I have a 2000 CLK430 and not planning on upgrading the suspension. Just want to change the wheels. Please advise also on the tire sizes (front and rear). Thanks in advance.

by increasing your wheel size, and not lowering your car, your car will look as if it is a 4X4. If you don't want to upgrade the suspension, at least consider changing out your spring pads to close the huge gap that you will get.

18s might be ok, but don't do 19s if u not gonna mod the suspension... it will look all outta whack...
In my case, I need to make a decision soon, cause the tires are cupped, and at least one rim is slightly bent. Luke @ TireRack tells me I'll be OK with the proposed setup, but now I'm thinking that maybe sticking with 17s might be my best bet. Too bad the OEM wheels are so expensive. It's a tough call...
