2000 CLK 430

Best Tires

Greetings,

What's the best tire for a CLK 430 (OEM) Wheel?
Thinking about either a Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Postion
Or Michelin Pilot Sport.

Also is there any advantages going 255/40/17 in rear
and 235/45/17 front? Or any disavantages either than cost?

I've heard the Bridgestone has more road noise, but who can hear road noise at 140 mph

2001 CLK 55 AMG

Potenzas have great grip but their road noise is louder than most other tires at freeway speeds. My $.02.

I'm on my 3rd set of tires in 22K miles, and by far the best I've tried so far are the S-03s. They're quieter than my AVS Sports were, but who cares about noise- they're awesome tires.
