44mm offset what size spacers

I have an '01 CLK430 (W208). I just got wheels in 19x8.5 (all 4). The offset is 44mm.

Will theses wheels bolt directly on or will I need to buy spacers? If so, what size spacers should I buy? Would 10mm in the front and 15mm in the back be sufficient? Should I or could I go with larger spacers? Maybe 20mm in the rear? Are H&R spacers the best? Does Ben from Evosport sell these? Any idea what price?

Also, these wheels came with 245/35/19 tires. Will these fit or do I need to change the front to 235/35/19? Could I get the front tires (245/35/19) and wheels to fit using a certain size spacer?

You guys have been awsome when it comes to recommendations in the past, thanks! Any information is greatly appreciated.

I'll post pics once I get them on!

the offset for the w208 is ET 35, so optimally you should go with 9mm spacers front and back. If you can't find a 9, then try the 10mm ones. Some members run 245 sized tires in the front, but most people use 235 front and 265 rear.

Thanks clkal.

I'll probably go with the 10mm spacers. Should I use 10mm on the front and the back or can I go 15mm or 20mm on the rear to get more of a staggered effect?

Are H&R spacers the best? Who has the best prices, evosport?

I have 19x8.5 up front, +44 offset & 19x9.5 in rear with +46 offset.

I run a 10mm spacer in both the front & rear. I've seen some people use as much as a 12mm spacer for wheels of such specifications, but they will increase the likelihood of contact/rubbing on the fenders.... especially if you lower your car...

if you don't lower it much, you should be fine with either a 10 or 12...

just keep in mind, with a 12mm spacer, that means you'll need even longer bolts, and shorter bolts=safer... so stick with 10mm spacers...

oh yeah, yes, get H&R spacers... you could get other brands too, but H&R are the most readily available...

whatever you choose, just make sure they are hubcentric spacers

mmgrad and clkal,
thanks to both of you. I am definitely going with the 10mm spacers for the front. I might go with the 15mm spacers for the rear since I only have a 19x8.5 wheel instead of the 19x9.5 like mmgrad has.

MMgrad, what size tires do you use?

running the basic 235/35 - 265/30 combo... i'm not looking for super phat tires, and this is the most trouble free combo....
