Removal of star,flat hood ornament..?
Hi can anybody help me to find a place on the net where they sell small flat hoodornaments that fit the clk W208 hood..
I only find those big flat ornatments that seems to go on the outside of the hood and not inte the hood..

any local MB dealer will have the flat hood badges. All you have to do is pop your hood, use a pair of pliers, turn the bottom part of the star emblem counterclockwise and pull it up from the star portion and it will come right out. the flat hood emblem will fit right in place with just one bolt. pretty easy install.

the one the dealer sells is the big one that sits on top of the hood...
for me, i think the big one looks good just the same... gotta represent, u know? nothing wrong with a slightly larger emblem...
and everyone sells those emblems... check evosport, they sell them too
