Try going on kbb.com, and you can get somewhat of an idea on your trade-in and private party sale vallue. Most of the dealership base the value of cars on what they are bringing in the private dealer auctions.

why is it kbb gives cars a lower value compared to edmunds? edmunds seems to be more close to what they're actually being sold for but more people know/trust kbb :-( buyers would push the unreasonably low kbb value. NADA seems to agree with edmunds
