Where is the Best Place to Sell my 99 CLK 430

I just ordered a 2002 CLK 430. I will have it by middle to late June. I am trying to sell my White 1999 CLK 430. Can anyone suggest the best places to list the car for sale. I live in New Jersey.

The car is garage kept, in mint condition and has 44,000 miles on it. I have all the maintance records and it is still under the factory warranty. I am selling it for $37,900 plus NJ sales tax. From what I have seen at NJ dealers, I have priced the car several thousand dollars below all the dealers. I am a private seller. Can anyone comment on the price as well. Thanks.

Why are you selling your 99' for an 02'? Its the same engine, just a few minor differences like the blinking mirrors and some interior changes.
i think you'll be taking a huge loss on buying another 430. IMO
why don't you try to find a used clk 55, for thousands less. there are a few out there in the $50s, just like a brand new 430 maybe cheaper.
this is what i would do... i've been thinking about it myself but since i have the options that i want already (i.e Comand), i think finding a 55 w/ COMAND for low 50s would be hard. plus, i could just get a Kleemann SC for the amount i would throw into getting a 55.

Actually I have nothing to lose.

I am trying to sell my 99 CLK because I lease it and I only have three more months on it. The company I lease it from has offered me or anyone else a great price to buy it at the end. I talked to dealers and its about the same price they would pay for the car at auction. They also told me they would buy it and mark it up much more than I am.

If no one is interested than I will turn it in. With no loss or out of pocket espenses other than advertising. I just put new brakes and new tires on it. The car is MINT, and if someone is in the market for a 99 CLK 430 I think it is a good deal.

Technically since I lease the car I am selling the option to purchase the car at a fixed price.

Its worth a shot. We shall see what happens.

I agree with you about the differences between 99 and 02 and if I owned the car I certainly would not sell it. i should have bought it from the beginning. I love it!

But I am leasing an 02 430 CLK for the same monthly lease on my 99 CLK with all the same options so I am very happy. I am not that much of a fan of the 03 CLK. Atleast not yet. CM
