2000 CLK430 prices?
I am in the market for a 2000 CLK430. My price range is around 40K. Can they be bought at this price? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I got a 2000 CLK 430 with 7700 miles for $43,000.00
I think it was a good deal...NOT A SCRATCH ON IT...perfect in every way...clean inside and out.
I've been very happy with it.

2000 CLK430 White/ Charcoal
I also paid $43,000. for my 2000 CLK430. I got mine at a dealer auction. The car only has 25k's. I posted pics of it in the pic thread. It's the only white one posted I have all the K packages and command also. The car is immaculate, not a single flaw. If I were to buy the car from a dealer I would have been paying around 48 to 51 g's and I still have the MB warranty covered

Bassamt,
I purchased my car at a dealer only auction in Manheim Pa. I am not a dealer but my friends father is, so basically he takes me there whenever I want a car. I went on a thursday night which was an exotic highline night, which means, they only auctioned late model luxury cars in excellant condition. Most cars are lease returns and you are almost guaranteed to get a car for it's trade in value which is what I paid for my CLK 430. You may not test drive the cars, no financing or leasing available, just cash or certifiable check. This is where most used high end car dealers get there cars. Most of thm come from the same place. I'm not sure where you are from, but I'm sure there is one within driving distance from your area. Hope that helped a bit

My CLK
Believe it or not, I found my CLK on EBAY.
It was a dealer in Decatur, IL....a couple of hours south of Chicago.
So, I drove my BMW 525 down to Decatur...and drove my CLK back to Chicago !

I've got a 2000 CLK430 with 22K miles and it's got a few scratches . I don't know what the best way to sell it is, especially because of the mods I've done (rims, suspsension).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Selling it?
In my opinion....your best bet is Ebay.
It's inexpensive....gives you access to a huge number of buyers...and let's you put detailed pics in the ad.
Be honest about the scratches....maybe even get an estimate on what it would cost to clean things up.
Then, perhaps be prepared to decrease your offer by 1/2 the cost of the repair estimate as a bargaining chip.
The 2000 CLK is a great car...I love mine...I was very fortunate to find one that was barely ever driven.

my advice is shop then shop then shop
I got my 2002 CLK430 with 1600 miles for $47,000 . I was shopping for over a month and went to every MB dealer in the NJ area. Finally, I got what I want.
Someone bought my car new in 12/01 and returned it for a trade-in on month later. It still had its plastic on it.

That's awesome!!! 430man. i got my 320 for about that price brand new. i wish i had waited and had gotten a 430. the main reason for not getting the 430 was the gas mileage and the front end of the 430 (don't really like it but it's growing on me now). i already fill up once a week on my 320.
How often does everyone else fill up with their 430s?
