stereo upgrade for bose
Hi everyone. I just bought an 02 430 with the bose system and a 6 disc cd changer. I am looking for an elegant way to modernize the stereo without too much surgery. Any suggestions or thoughts?

I just had a Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS double din head unit installed in my daughters 2002 CLK320 Sport. here is a link to the unit. The cheapest price I found wsa on Amazon.

I also had two cameras installed, one back up and one in the front to aid parking.
I retained the bose amp and speakers, those are fine and sound great.
I got the required interface to retain the steering wheel controls, which work flawlessly.
Here is the Metra Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel control interface.

Overall, everything fits, works and it looks like it belongs in the console, very sleek, a factory look.
The unit has color HD touchscreen, bluetooth, HD radio, two camera inputs, DVD/CD player, AUX input and a USB port. It pairs with the iPhone 6s easily and uses voice recognition for calls.
I had it installed by a local professional, who had no problems. A perfect installation by All Audio in San Rafael, CA.
