COMAND hidden menu - pls try and send me info
Hi
Im trying to collate info on software versions of COMAND in Europe and USA
So, if anyone would like to help, can U do this
Enter the hidden diagnostic mode on COMAND
- Select AUX input mode [press SYS button, select AUX from menu]
- Hold down Mute , 1, 3 all together
- Menu appears with "Processors" "Tuner" "Diagnostics" and possibly "Configuration"
Select Versions
Select Processors
collect FIS and S/W info
Press RET [goes back to Versions menu]
Select FIS
collect FIS, S/w and H/W info
[for those in the US, can you go back to the Versions menu, scroll down and see if you have a TV setting ??]

Wow...That menu is pretty cool. Too bad you can only view the settings and not change anything...
From my MY2001 US CLK55
From Processors menu:
FIS: Aug 9 2000 10:25
S/W: REL_V06.11
From FIS Menu:
H/W: 42.00
S/W: 32.00
Also, there is no TV Tuner area on the versions screen. The only reference I see to the TV Tuner is when you go into the Configuration from the main screen you see that TV Tuner is unchecked.
