Help with Air Con and Hoses
Hi,
I hope I am posting to the correct forum. I believe that my 2002 CLK 430 is a W208. If I am mistaken please excuse my ignorance and let me know what is correct.
My problems:
1-The '"EC" button light comes on all the time. I know that this is the "economy" mode so I think that because of this the AC no longer works. I cannot turn the EC mode off by pressing the button, but if I restart the engine I can turn if off (the light goes off), but it comes back on and there is no air conditioning available.
2-I have had to service the charcoal air filter that is connected to the gas tank air connection. This connects with 2 hoses of different diameter. The larger one comes from the tank, the smaller one comes out of the cannister. What size adapter would I need to bypass the cannister? I seem to recall seeing this on here before but I cannot find it now.
